This is the ninth time I have moved. The company I usually used had closed down the local location. I called This Side Up Moving off of a flyer I had received. Absolutely the best moving experience ever. They called me with a courtesy call the morning of the move to let me know they were on their way and arrived on time. My movers, Alvin H. Kala’i S., Kanoa S., all introduced themselves to my wife and I and shook our hands upon arrival. They worked very efficiently, carefully, and were extremely friendly and respectfull. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

I cannot say enough good things about the crew that This Side Up Moving sent to my house. Alvin, Max, Tyreke and Rayshawn were so polite and professional. They know what they are doing and they hustle. They finished well under the time that was expected and was estimated for and therefore saved us money. They took great care of all of our items as well as both houses. This is an impressive company who made the process so easy from start to finish. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone that’s moving. Birmingham is lucky to have them in our area.

I would highly recommend This Side Up for anyone in need of movers. Our two movers, Alvin and Kala’i, showed up on time, communicated well throughout the move, showed great care to all of our belongings, and moved everything with ease. The process of booking with This Side Up was also super easy and easy everyone I spoke with was very nice. Again, I would highly recommend this company and would gladly use them again!

Moving apartments with This Side Up in Birmingham, AL was genuinely stress-free—Kalai and Tyreke showed up right on time, took care with my things, and moved everything quickly and professionally. They listened and made sure everything ended up where I needed it. Alvin, who gave me the quote, was the only one (out of four places I called) who really took time with the call and asked enough questions. I could tell he was sincerely trying to give me an accurate estimate, and the final price was, seriously, within $10 of the quote. So, zero surprises there. Friendly, careful, and trustworthy team—highly recommend them if you want fair rates and great service from real professionals.

I have used This Side Up several times over the last 5 years and they are by far one of the most professional and reliable companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend them if you are making a move.

Ashley was extremely helpful getting our move setup and letting us know what to expect throughout the process. Staff from the front office to the movers were very friendly and efficient. They helped us navigate moving several large items and took great care in ensuring that our furniture was protected throughout the move. Would recommend to anyone contemplating a move.

We saw This Side Up listed as one of the best moving companies in north Alabama. The price they quoted was very reasonable and met our needs, so we chose them and were very glad we did! Our two movers were very efficient and careful, and I was so pleased with the way they handled everything, especially my piano. Great experience!

Your team did an AMAZING job with our move. After a few bad experiences, we found you guys! A special shoutout to Alvin, Tyreke, and Kala’l who were perfect gentlemen; they hustled, they consulted with us, and they were hilarious and fun to boot! Overall GREAT moving experience.

Rarely have I been so impressed by a company such as this! The moving team wrapped my furniture like Christmas presents! Nonstop working to get my possessions many to my storage unit. Then manage to fit them all into a space smaller than anticipated. I liken it to, a ship container load plan. They utilized the space so efficiently! They were professional and personable, at the same time. I cannot express enough. How pleased I am with them. I will definitely utilize their services to move me into my new home. Thank you This Side Up, for you're fantastic efforts.
